50k miles and i have never had problems. it now has 122k and i think shes
getting old. dont have much experience with standard trans. is it time for new clutch? i did check the fluid levels and they are good. also it wont happen all the time, so far it seems to happen after its been running awhile. any help please

hey distortedtj, thanks but my 'Chiltons' book says 95 wrangler is a closed system and doesnt have bleeding options...any other ideas. I plan on keeping my Jeep til I die so I dont mind replacing the clutch and throwout bearing if it needs it, I just hate to do the work if its not the problem....-rs

2000 clutch

I just started having the same problem in my 2000 Jeep (which I just bought about a month ago). I don't know where to start except to bring it to a repair shop, but I was hoping to find out on a Jeep site like this the reason for the clutch sticking in like that...and maybe how expensive/difficult it might be to fix.
