cold air intake

Hey there ;
Just new to the community, from Nova Scotia Canada. Was wondering if these cai units are all what they are supposed to be? I have a 2009 wrangler Rocky mtn edition, 3.8 litre, and like it a lot. Got it new and don`t do a lot of off roading as i used to , but i find on the highway it`s pretty gutless. From what i`ve read about the cai is it helps out on the accelleration, fuel,and hp. Has anyone installed one of these and found a difference in performance, or is it just a bunch of crap? If not then i would like to know which cai is the best for your buck.

Welcome to the Forum

From what I've read, they don't make enough of a difference to justify the cost. Don't take my word for it though, post your question in the JK section for more knowledgeable replies.
