Corvallis and Portland Oregon NEW YJ OWNER!

My First Jeep!!! Wanted to share it and my work with you all!
This was a gift from my parents actually...
I'm 21, got married a year and a half ago and this was my parents last big gift for me! The wife and I were going to have to buy a car within the year and both being college student, were struggling to find the money.

My dad installs irrigation and the guy he was doing the work for couldnt pay up and gave him the heep for payment. Apparently it leaked nearly every fluid really badly but my dad kept it a secret for 3 months and worked on it until my birthday.

Now im realizing how dangerous of a present it was, only one month and I am dieing to personalize it and the quadratec magazine he gave me with it is only helping it.

Just wanted to show you guys the jeep.
Its a 1993 YJ with a 4Banger 5spd.
Right around 151,000 on the clock
The guy before me put on a
Rock-it Short ram Intake,Pacesetter Headers, and a full Gibson exhaust

Gave it a lift on the cheap (shackle and body)
and put BFG 32x11.5 A/T meats

---Ive already installed a Dome Light, Installed a stereo (PO had it stolen and all wires cut...that was a chore), Just today finished Ammo Can Speakers (write-up on the way), and beginning of last week installed a sub in center console (write-up on the way as well)

IF SOMEONE COULD MAKE THESE CLICK-FREE THAT WOULD BE AMAZING.

My new JEEP!!!
Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

Rear/side view (yep, thats a ford explorer spare tire...dremmelled to fit...spare on the cheap )
(yea i hate that my top and doors dont match but the ones they came with were broken and a friend of the family had these so they keep the weather out atleast)
Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

Here is a view of my 8inch sub installed in the rear of my console (i did this with a 1/4" drill bit, the biggest i had, and a leatherman multi tool saw) you can see the mess it lest right below
http://i679.photobucket.com/albums/v...am/submess.jpg

Here is a view after i painted the grill and put that on. I think i did alright for a small drill and tiny hand saw huh?

Here is the ammo can (borrowed a step drill for this, again not the right tools, but used what i had)
I just traced the circle for the 6.5" speakers and drilled around the circle and then used the pliers of the leatherman to bend the sharp edges in.

Here are the cans in the jeep, yet to be bolted down

What do you guys think?
Anything you recommend?

I'm a student in Drafting and Engineering Graphics and I have designed a rear bumper and tire carrier. Within a month I hope to have that built with help of my buddy in the welding department.

Any input or thoughts are welcomed
Just want to say hello and let you see my work so far!

-Eddie

Nice, dad hooked it up big time. Now you can get used to revising your Quadratech wish list by "priority". Welcome to the club.
