Dating a girl who owns a jeep!

Hey, my lady is a jeep enthusiast and I would like to make her day by making her 1999 TJ a little cooler. Sad fact is, I'm not the mechanical type so I'm hoping everybody here could help me out a little and make her a happy girl. Thanks!

Well I'm lucky because one of my closest friends is a mechanic and told me yesterday that as long as we make a party out of it, he'll just teach me to do anything to it myself... all for free

Just a joke O.O....
On a serious note.
trimming up your fenders and adding a small budget boost will make her jeep stand out.
running doorless and topless also looks pretty bomb

Take the milk jugs off the front and rear bumper. Instant cool right there!

They're the plastic ends on the bumpers. You can get the newer replacements on the Internet for a couple of bucks.

We are going to upgrade to the black tube bumpers this fall, but I will try taking those off until then.

You can get them from the dealership for around $8 a set.
I kept the rear ones on mine.

You might also consider a set of these.

Allows her to ride doorless without having to relocate her mirrors.
These are the Bestop Element Doors but there are lots of other manufacturers that sell them.

The set ran a little over 300 for the rails. You can also buy enclosures and soft uppers making them half doors.

Tube bumpers aren't a upgrade.. In fact if anything there a down grade over the stock bumper.. If she does some offroading as I see she does by the mud.. Good Idea to look into a winch bumper.. and then well a winch lol..
