Enough trolling

New member here. I've appreciated this forum, members and knowledge for some time now. I've wanted another Jeep for over a decade but my budget doesn't allow me anything but a DD and my daily commute (and the ridiculous price of gas) requires a car with great MPG.

Good news, I'm starting a new job that is local to my home! So guess who's finally in the market for a new JKU!

Now I just have to decide on a '14 or join in on the '15 waiting room thread

Here's my list:
Black Hard Top
Engine Block Heater (unless someone can recommend an aftermarket option)
Remote Start
Connectivity Group
Pref: Anvil, but white-billet-granite-copper all options (favorite color to date was Rescue Green-loved the metallic in the sun)

Planned upgrades:
Rampage front bumper
TF leveling kit
cut fenders until Metal Cloak Overlands
17" Level 8 Pro Bully
Toyo Open Country A/T II 285/75/17
SWS full length
rock slider/steps brand unsure yet
metal front grab handles (forgot brand, saw them on here, wife is vertically challenged)
Rear Bumper/tire carrier like Expedition One but with notch to drop spare tire lower to see out of rear

I want to try and keep ride quality as close to stock since it will be my DD, totally realize with the added weight of bumpers/winch may need stiffer springs/shocks.

Thoughts or suggestions welcome! Hope to get wheeling with you local guys soon!

Thanks guys. I've really enjoyed the forum and build threads. Looks like there are a good number of us in the DFW to Tyler to Austin area. We need to put a weekend crawl together sometime.

And thanks again for the welcome!
