Fell in an outhouse, came out smelling like roses in Seattle

Hi Gang! UNBELIEVABLE deal on a 98 Wrangler Sport.
Had to have a guy move his Sport so my crew could do some shoulder work. Guy comes out and says he's out of room at his house, just bought a new car and needs this 98 Sport GONE, G.O.N.E., GONE.
Asks if I want to buy it. Uh.....$100 I say. He looks at me, hesitates, and says "How about $300?". I asked what was wrong with it. (I'm thinking, stolen, no title, wrecked/salvage, crazy person, etc.) He said it had an engine knock (sounded like a bent rod or broken rocker). I asked to see the title and his ID. Title is NOT salvage AND it's in HIS name. Ran a CarFax, never been wrecked.
I said $100, he said $300, we settled on $200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Signs the title over, (still waiting for the cameras to come out and hear someone say "You've been punked!") paper transfer all works out.
I had to drop an I6 in it (bad lower end) and flywheel/clutch/pressure plate/bearing - $1500 out the door.
Perfect body, minor surface pan rust. Came with a year old soft top and NEW windshield.
Always wanted a Wrangler, got one now, WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dang...you're like one of those people who finds a classic painting in the same frame as a cheap print. Nice find and welcome to the forum.
I didn't do it. Nobody saw me do it. You can't prove anything.
