First Jeep

Hey everyone. I just bought a 2001 Wrangler Sport 5-speed with 15k miles on the clock for a cool $6k. I love working on my own car and its always great to have a community to give you tips along the way. A friend from another forum pointed me this way and it looks like a great place. Just wanted to say hello and I'll post up pictures when I can!

Wow if I read that right, you oughta sell that jeep you just bought for an easy 15-16k, and then find another decent deal and have some money for mods.

oh, and welcome to the forum!

I doubt he'd find another one for that kind of a deal. With the money he saved buying this one he can jump right to lifting it

You read my mind AzTJ haha. Yeah I'm getting this car from an aunt who used it very lightly, to be honest, I don't think she knows quite what its worth. But yeah, I'm going to put some money into some modifications. I don't foresee myself taking it off road a whole lot, though I can see how raging through some mud would be tons of fun so who knows, maybe I'll get addicted
