First Jeep ever.

Hello fellow Jeepers, I Just bought a good conditon used 1998 Wrangler white with tan interior and soft top.
As I write this my Jeep is in my driveway without plates. Will get them Monday morning, I can't wait.
Now I'm sure I'll have plenty of "dumb" posts since I don't know my elbow from my @$$hole when it comes to Jeeps, so I hope I can count on all of you well informed guys and gals in here.
Thanks for having me. -Morning Wood.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!
Well, since my first post I had a few days to drive around in it, not knowing really what to expect, but I got to tell you.......bouncy, loud, unrefined........

.....I absolutely love it! Its got soo much character, feels very retro, a real no nonsense machine, the more I drive it, the more I like it. I'm always driving with a stupid grin. I'm glad I made the purchase, I only wished I did it sooner.
...Again, thanks for the welcome.

Welcome!

Welcome, Morning Wood, to the best Wrangler forum in existence! The admins do a tremendous job and you'll find great support and accurate tech answers here. By the way, there's a Jeep Jamboree in NJ this year. I might suggest "breaking in" your Jeep on such a ride. I attended one last year and, under the watchful eyes of the trail guides, learned what Jeeps can do (more than I ever dreamed) and just what I can do with it. Take a look on jeepjamboreeusa.com for the one in NJ. It's worth every dime. Again, welcome!
