welcome to the jeep addiction.. sky is the limit. You can post pics and that would help people more on what your jeep looks like and may already have. GOOD LUCK

Just let everyone know what year and model of Jeep that you are working with, and I'm sure you will be flooded with suggestions... but regardless since it is a Jeep, the first thing you have to do is lift it and put some meat under it!

I have a 2002 Wrangler X, so I can tell you some of the upgrades I did because our Jeeps are so similar. I can also help you avoid some of the mistakes I made along the way. My first advice would be to go straight to the suspension lift that you want, rather than getting some cheap budget boost deal. Opt for the 4" lift and you won't be disappointed. Then get some 33" or 35" tires. Don't mess around with 31s or 32s. I went with some Cragar soft 8 steel wheels on 35s. They are black, deep dish, and great for the money (only about $60 each). Stay away from flashy chrome rims, they don't belong on a Jeep. The next thing I would suggest is upgrading both bumpers and getting a swing out tire carrier. Ebay has some amazing deals from some company called EautoGrilles. I got the rear bumper with tire carrier that is almost identical to a $800 Smittybilt bumper for $450 shipped. You can get the matching front bumper shipped together with the rear for around $700. My final advice would be avoid anything and everything that is plastic. In other words, Bushwacker "body armor" that looks like diamond plate but is actually plastic is total junk. Opt for the steel products from Warrior and you won't regret it. Have fun!
