First time Jeep owner, waiting on white Rubicon

Like the title says, this is my first Jeep. Like many of you, I've admired the wrangler from a far for many years before I made my first purchase. I purchased a Bright White Rubicon from a local San Diego dealer last week that was "in transit" and expected to be in my driveway sometime this week. This was a long hard decision for me, as this is the most amount of money I have ever spent on an automobile. Although I like the bright white, sadly, it was not my first choice. In my opinion, Comando Green is the best color this year. They have one at my local dealer, CG Rubicon Saddle leather interior and I almost got it, however, it was 3k more than the white Rubicon with cloth interior, so, for less than the price of the CG I got a maintenance package and Security system installed. However, If the CG had black leather I would have probably pulled the trigger.

I'm a newbie, no question, however, Im very anxious to learn as much as I can. Do any of you have anything I should be looking out for when I pick up my Jeep? Any Questions I should be asking?

Does anyone have the factory security system? I'm regretting my purchase already? Was this a good move or Bad?

Thanks everyone!

First - welcome to the forum!

I bought my first ever new vehicle last July - my 2012 Sport S. My dealer was a POS, frankly. He basically gave me the keys, said "the Jeep's outside" and walked away. Make sure you get your rep to inspect the Jeep with you. Not sure if you have a hard top, but my Jeep was driven to Nebraska from Kansas City, and they must have had the freedom panels out. One of the screws that anchors the top down wasn't even installed!! It was just sitting in my center console. Just go through the Jeep, look for any potential damage, and ask the dealer any questions you can come up with before taking delivery.

Congrats on the new ride, and make sure to post some pictures when you pick it up! Just wait until the Jeep bug bites you. This forum is dangerous
