Picked up my first Jeep a few weeks ago. 2014 KJU Sport with a bunch of options I didn't want. Bought it because it was the only 6-speed in town at the time.
Anyway, I love this thing. I've owned 4WD trucks all of my adult life and have always wanted a Wrangler so I finally traded. While I miss having a truck, I can't say I have ANY buyer's remorse.
I'm still running OEM tires (17" rims, part of the "upgrade"), and I won't replace them until I'm sure I have everything else in place (ie: onboard water, fuel, tools, etc.). My goal is to be able to jump in the Jeep and go anywhere and know if I break down or get stuck to where I can't dig myself out, I can still survive for a week or more and walk out if necessary.
I'll be lurking mostly, searching for answers to my questions. I look forward to learning from all of you.
Had to register as BrokkenStik, but I'm BlackhawkFan on the Interwebz.
