FNG Here

Well morning everyone like it says I'm a f$&ckin new guy. I'm mechanically inclined never had a jeep. Since my 7.3 97 f250 was slowly falling apart thought I see what fish out there I could pull in. I always loved jeeps and when I saw two jeep side by side it was a hard choice for me. One being a 07 Sahara manual with 40,000 miles. The other beauty being a 08 rubicon with 35,000 miles automatic. I love me manual trans make you feel part of the vehicle. But being in the arm and my knees and back crapping out I decides with the auto rubicon. In the long run had her for about two weeks and I don't regret my decision. I've taken her off-roading all ready and she went up something's I was surprised she be able to go up. But on that same adventure I found out the so called "easy" trails could sneak up on you nite you in the ass. Got a little cocky and rolled through a rut that was made out by something way taller got high centered. My pride was hurting and lack of recovery tools made it a challenge. But with the help of a friendly ate rider he helped me out a assload. I probly still be stuck out there today hahahaha. It was a wake up call to make sure I have th proper tools. Oh and I am a sgt in the army at ft Knox ky. Hopefully I can meet up with some ky jeepster to teach me more thanks Rodger
