Question Fuel line pinhole leak

I have a '97 TJ Wrangler with 105,000 miles. I recently developed several pinhole leaks in the straight section of the stainless steel fuel line just ahead of the rear wheels. I had it replaced and the new one began to leak near the same spot within several months. All leak were on the upper surface of the tube. Is this a common problem or a fluke? Sam
