Fuel Pump Issue

Just repalced my fuel pump/sender in my 95 YJ. It had sat for about a year. New unit still not sending fuel. When I turn the key, I dont hear the pump priming. I checked the fuse - 30 amp seemed OK. I guess my next step is to check and see if I have power to the pump. Anybody have any suggestions?
