Hi
just wanted to introduce myself

Dwayne, from Ga...I'm working on my " BOSSES" 1987 Jeep YJ ( I believe)
I6, he purchased it used a few months ago, with all the emissions removed and a Holley 2 barrel carb installed. It has some running rich issues

I look forward to helping him get this issue resolved. I have been wrenching for many years, however I have never seen such a mess, under the hood

Today I got it running somewhat better, for him, but not sure where to go from here, still running vary rich, and when we shake the jeep, side to side by hand, the engine wants to almost quit, he said it did a few times, but now since I worked on it some today, we shook it side to side a few times, and it almost wanted to quit again, but it didn't

well enough for now. I thank you for letting me join this form, and I am sure that the information here, through searching and posting will help me, get him a better running Jeep
