greetings from boston

Good afternoon all,
I first found this forum back in October when I was looking up some info on locking lug nuts. I lurked around a bit and then sort of forgot about it until last week when my power windows stopped working in the drive thru at dunkin donuts. It was only a one time deal because they have been fine since. But I decided this time to join up with the forum.

I bought my first wrangler in October. A black 2014 2 door Sahara with a hard top. It's bone stock and will remain so until I have some cash. I'll eventually lift it, put lockers in it and get some black rims. While it is bone stock I've taken it off road a few times. I found some trails up along the new Hampshire/Vermont border and on some old railroad tracks I found in winchindon mass. I love driving my jeep and can't wait to get into some more off roading adventures

Welcome Jump. I spent a week in Bos and Maine last month and I while I noticed a lot of Jeeps up there (like I do in FL) I was surprised to see almost all of them were still stock. Do most people keep them that way?!? I see more modded jeeps in FL than stock.

I can't say if there are a higher percentage of stock jeeps in the greater New England area than other places but the large percentage I see driving around metro Boston are stock. There are still plenty of modified jeeps cruising around. If I had a guess it could be that down south lifting trucks and jeeps and SUVs is more ingrained in the culture. That's just a guess tho. I do remember when I was visiting friends down in Texas a few years back I never saw so many trucks with massive lifts
