Greetings from NW 'burbs of Chicago!

Hi! New Jeep owner here! After almost 20 years of motorcycles I sold my last one and bought a 2002 Wrangler X with 4.0 and am happy I did so!

I've googled a lot of Jeep stuff and this forum keeps popping up at the time of the results and lots of great info so signed up!

Things on my short to do this season:
- do something off-road for the novice!
- replace the soft top with something that isn't so crusty and tight it takes an act of God to replace!

Well, thanks for the good info so far and look forward to contributing in the future!

Ok, OK! That looks like a nice group - can you tell me any more about them?

I'm in Hoffman Estates just 20 minutes south of you!

I just joined and have gone to one meet and great!! I missed the second one but heard it was a blast. They are on Facebook and have a webpage with forum. They are low key and not pretentious about what you have or don't have.

Foxriverjeepclub.com
And on Facebook.

Gary Hayes and Mike Metrick are the two that got this going but everyone is extremely helpful!!!
