Greetings from STL

Whats up everyone!

Obviously new member here, I just purchased a 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara last week. Loving every moment of it.

Now I am clueless as to anything Jeep related. My background is primarily sports cars. Coming from a Honda S2000 and BMW M3, I'm traveling in foreign (domestic) territory. I was a big time forum guy w/ both of my previous vehicles, so I'm sure universal forum rules apply. I want to go ahead and apologize if I do ask a newb question, as I have already been searching this forum through and through and still have some questions unanswered.

You might be asking why I chose to get a jeep after owning sports cars? Well I just recently opened up a sandwich shop, and was needing a more practical vehicle. I test drove a bunch of trucks and other SUVs and none felt as good as the Wrangler Unlimited.

So I pulled the trigger on one from Glendale Jeep (local dealer). Billet Silver (I think thats the color code) Black leather interior, Uconnect, and all the other creature comforts. I highly doubt I will ever take this thing on the trail, but who knows. So I opted for more of the urban fitted Wrangler. As I do like my amenities.

Anways, Im sure you'll see me post all around the forums. but for now with my decision in purchasing the Jeep!

I'm having a big of a problem understanding this sentence.. if you needed a more practical vehicle why did how it 'felt' play any role in the purchase? You don't need to 'justify' a jeep purchase here, but be honest... nothing to do with practicality ;-)

Welcome!!!
I love the fact that you bought a Jeep for "practical use". I totally get it but I still think it is funny.

Thanks for the welcome every one!

and lol! I know for practicality purposes I could have chosen something else. But the Wrangler won me over, w/ the rear seats folded down there was more than enought space for me to haul stuff around. Surprisingly I get pretty decent gas mileage.
