Guam JK checking in...

Whats up all! Finally decided to stop being a lurker and start an account. I'm stationed in Guam and lovin island duty in the Navy. When my wife and I got to the island, she told me right away that she didn't want to tear up her car on the potholes out here and that we needed a truck. Needless to say, I saw this as an opportunity to fill the garage with a new toy for me and the family. Shopped around and found that nearly all jeeps on the island (that weren't rust buckets) were going to cost $10K-$ I opted for a used '09 2 dr JK X w/steelies and an auto(price was right/wife can drive it). I've been extremely happy with the JK and the aftermarket support for the platform ever since. Well that's pretty much it for me...If anyone finds their way out to Guam, hit me up for a weekend on the trails sometime, I spend as much time as possible playing in the red clay/mud and terrain out here. If I don't respond too quickly (i.e. months), it's b/c I spend most of my time deployed, but I will always eventually come back and get caught up with the forums.

PS here's a little bit of some Guam Wheelin in "Lil Blue

Thanks all for the warm welcome! Hey JDS Dream, Nice choice for ur other vehicle, too! I thought I was the only Mopar lover with a german mistress. I left my E46 back in the states to save the suspension from the Guam roads. Now, back to the Jeep... time for me to start searching for winch info... C y'all on the trails!
