I am new to the forum. I have/had a 1993 jeep wrangler that ran for me like a champ for years. Recently I gave my jeep to my son so that he would have a vehicle. Ever since it has been an issue . First the steering column broke, but we were able to replace that on our own. Then the rear drive shaft snapped at the u joint, again something we were able to repair. Now a break at what looks like anther drive shaft in the front which must have swung around and put a huge hole in the transfer case. My question is, are we done, or is this something that two backyard mechanics can fix?
I love all of the info and help we have been able to get here. I'm hoping for some guidance.
Welcome to the WF Amy.
- Not sure, really, if your ever done/finished. Some of it may depend on how it is driven.
- Try posting your question(s) in the YJ forum. Should be able to get better feedback from there.
- Good luck!

- Semper Paratus You know you drive a TJ when you have the parts for the mod, the right tools for the job, a BFH & still need a Sawzall to get the job done!
Post your question there. If you could also give a complete Jeep profile, with all mods and problems listed, the guys there will get you set up right. Including identifying the reason that you have parts snapping, and preventative measures and repairs to keep things like this from happening again.
