Hello all, I am new to this forum and just recently started reading based on looking for more information on how long it takes to produce a JKUR. I liked the thread I was reading on the BFG color so much that I had to join so I could jump in. I am from Colorado and grew up in one of the best places in the world to test the Jeeps capabilities. I am waiting for my third Jeep that is my first to buy new and is now on order and I just got this update today.
Greetings! Your new Jeep® is scheduled for production. This is the second of three email updates to keep you informed as your vehicle moves through production. Since the last time we contacted you, the parts required to assemble your Jeep were received.
Displayed below is a link to access your vehicle tracking number. This unique code allows you to identify and monitor your Jeep as it moves through the various stages of production:
Confirmation -> Production -> Frame -> Paint -> Trim -> Final inspection -> Shipment -> Delivery
This is the most excited I have ever been for a new vehicle and while we will miss my 2001 TJ I so look forward to having more room and a Rubicon.
I started out with a 1979 CJ5 and it was so much fun but the TJ made it look dated and was so much nicer.
Now it is time to start fresh and build a Jeep ready to take us to the top of the world.
I look forward to seeing what else I can discover and learn about the lifestyle that I might have missed over the years. I know if you get the Jeep thing you understand why the top is off from May to October and why a new trail is so much fun.
Take care Johnny
