Hello from Alaska

Honored to be a member of your forum.

Ive been out of Jeeping for a while, some would say I am old school...lots of CJ5 and CJ7s. Havent had a Jeep since my experience with one 88 YJ. But since all my young'n have moved out, Ive been checking out the JKs and the Mrs. and I are really looking forward to re-entering the world of Jeeping....we're pretty sure our rentry will be a lot more sedate than our past experiences. LOL These days we're looking to explore the South Western Deserts, ghost town, mines, and old wagon trails, etc, even attend a Rubicon and/or Moab event. We think an area totally different from our Alaskan adventures will be exciting and will help expand our horizans a little. Hope to see ya on the trail. We're thinking of a 13 or 14 Rubicon, seems like the easiest route, but I love to tinker so there is some appeal to the Sport models and who dosent love the AEV Jeeps....except my Mrs. and my bank account....actually I think I can build somehthing close to em in my garage.....or have fun trying. Which brings me to why I would like to join your forum....it appears you all have done all the heavy thinking for me and all I have to do is read and deceide which mods I want on my rig. Thanks to you all.

Welcome to the forum!!!

The Desert surprisingly has a lot of trails and then there are the mountains and the old mines. Nevada has some great trails.
