I finally got my first Wrangler about 6 weeks ago after wanting one since I was 16.
This is my 4th car, my last being a Mazda 323 which I loved from when I drove it brand new out of the car yard (7 years ago) until it was put into the panel shop after extensive hail damage. Due to it being written off due to the damage, I was able to use the insurance money to get my first Jeep.
My ideal Jeep would be a brand new 4 door, but I figured I'd start with a basic pre-loved 1998 TJ Wrangler.
It's auto (hey, I'm a girl and live in the city), plus I haven't driven a manual for about 10 years! It's dark green (I'm sure there is a fancy name for this colour) and has a tan soft top. However due to most of the zips being broken when I purchased it and it's now nearly winter down here, I've ordered a brand new black Bestop. I'm looking forward to getting the new soft top, not looking to trying to install it (any help would be appreciated - but I'm sure there are plenty of topics on here about it).
I've already taken the back seat out due to having to large dogs (great dane and greyhound).
But definately looking forward to next summer when I can take the top off.
That part of Australia is great! I had a ton of fun in Melbourne. One of the best Vietnamese places I have been in for Pho is in Richmond on Victoria street - called The Pho Chu.
Cheap and fantastic! Odd thing to remember about Australia, maybe... but damn it's tasty, and I spent a lot of time there hehe
