Hello from Central Vt.

Hi everyone. Just joining your forum. I've been checking this place out for a couple of months , doing some research on the new Jeeps. I just purchased a blue 2013 Wrangler Unlimited Oscar Mike , auto with a hard top. What a difference from my last Jeep , a 1975 CJ5 soft top with a 304 V8 and a 3 speed trans. I sold the CJ about 20 years ago. I have had several 4x4 trucks and a Land Rover Discovery in between. The Disco was very nice , I lifted it and put a Detroit locker in the rear diff and a True Trac in the front diff , and too much other stuff to write about. A very good rig. I hope the Oscar Mike is even better. I plan on keeping it for many years. Later,JB

Thanks for the warm welcome. I was working on the Jeep today. A little painting on the suspension and frame. I wish that Jeep would have done a better job. Then a wash , wax , and clean the interior. Next is mounting a GPS and adding an accessory fuse panel. One step at a time.

Thanks. Went for a ride today , this JKU is nice. It could use some storage compartments for small items , or pockets on the doors. The mesh just isn't cutting it. Maybe the drawers for under the front seats , and the roll bar sunglass holder ? Then the Smittybuilt G.E.A.R. tailgate storage ?
