My name is Matt, and just wanted to introduce myself. I'm currently serving in the USAF, and stationed in Germany. I just placed an order for my first Jeep (2014 Jeep Wrangler). I can't wait until it gets here, as I've wanted a Jeep ever since I was a kid riding around with my Dad in his 79' CJ5. Anyway, that's all for now. Going to go explore the forum.
Welcome to the forum! Congrats on your new jk and Thank you for your service! Let us know how it does on the autobahn! Lol
Thanks! I have a feeling I'm going to be taking it very easy on the autobahn. haha. To be honest, it's a bit overrated. I have a sports car currently, and it's nice when you need to make up time, but other than that, it's nothing special. Besides, I wouldn't want to go and ruin a perfectly good JK now, would I? Haha. Anyway, thanks again for the warm welcome everyone. I'm happy to be making my way into the Jeep family
Welcome, congrats and America loves its servicemembers. I would rule out the autobahn in that a Wranglers 0-60 is about....15 minutes on a good day and the speedometer tops out at 100 mph lol!
But take comfort. The sports cars may go faster-but Wrangler will go everywhere. :-)

Welcome Matt! Lots of active duty and veterans here (I'm former USAF), you'll feel right at home! Thanks for serving. Post pics when you can!
Thanks Duke, glad to be here! So far, I'm really impressed with the community; everyone seems really awesome. Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until Feb-Mar '14 for the Jeep to make it over. But rest assured, as soon as it does, I'll be posting tons of pictures. Can't wait!
