Smile Hello from Nova Scotia!

My hubby and I recently purchased a 2012 Sahara Unlimited...actually...we ordered in Sept. 2011 and just got it last week. I am so excited It is the 6 sp manual which I was looking forward to but guess I need a little practice ( haven't driven a stick in about 7yrs ) I'm doing ok but notice it keeps popping out of gear rather frequently, not sure if it is me or the Jeep ( probably me )
I'd like to post a pic of my new baby but don't know how, if someone could point me in the right direction as to how to this I'd be grateful.

Thanks!
Lisa

Welcome I'm waiting on the same Jeep. Manual too....I will keep an eye on the shifter now that you mentioned it. I like that color, you are the second one posting tonight, that I have seen, that has that color. Very nice.

Thanks for the warm welcome!! I had my neighbor take my Jeep out yesterday as he drives a stick and he said it popped out of 4th once but realized it was because he didn't have it all the way in, he told me that perhaps I was trying to drive it too much like a car and to take my time shifting making sure the stick was in good before letting of the clutch...I haven't had any issues since holding to his advice. However, that didn't help with the seemingly frequent stalling issues I have lol! doing better though, only stalled once in reverse yesterday when leaving the hardware store in front of a bunch of guys - how embarassing lol

No worries...they were just admiring the Jeep and not paying attention to the stall.

I know I'd be looking at your Jeep I really love these newer colors. Mine is black but I want to put a small bee on the side. Wonder if anyone has any ideas on where I could get a bee to stick on my Jeep and a matching bee tire cover. My students call me Ms. B. So I have to put a bee on it somewhere. LOL

Nice jeep!

Welcome fellow Canuck, and Neighbour... I ordered my Rubi back in Oct and 125 days later, yesterday, I picked it up from the dealer. Love the Jeep and love the Manual and yes, it's not a quick shifter. Nice slow, solid, firm shifts and it works like a charm at least in mine it does.
Enjoy!

Yes, I've realized the shifts have to be slow...seems to be working much better that way...this morning the hubby moved it to plow the driveway and the check engine light is on?? I suppose there are million reasons why this might happen? I'm trying to find the forum to get info but I guess I haven't had enough java yet this morning lol
@ Mrs. Bee, I hope you find a bee, must be a place where you could find such a decal, maybe online?

Check engine light...already??? Do share when you find out what happend. Yeah I am still looking for a "Bee" wanted one for the back tire too. Parked next to a Sahara last night at the local grocery store. Have decided that I will have to get bigger tires because I loved the way this Jeep looked. Same color as mine etc. Spare change to the penny jar for tires I guess.
