Hello from South Carolina

Hello all. I'm here to convince myself to trade my truck in on a Jeep. I've convinced the wife and now I need to finish convincing me. I figured I could buy a trailer and could haul furniture, lumber and such when those things come up. I've configured about every possible option on Jeep's website, but I think I've settled on an Unlimited Sahara model.

I've never owned a Jeep, but grew up with them. My dad and a few uncles each had Jeeps and it was a blast riding in them. I took one for a test drive last weekend and couldn't get the smile off of my face the entire time. Still have a stupid grin on my face when I think about it.

I have two kids and I really think it would be a fun time for all just riding around with the top off. With the phenomenal aftermarket for the Wrangler I could get the kids involved with helping to make the Jeep our own.

I know, my user ID is Chevy_Dude. My dad is retired from General Motors and a Jeep (AMC years) was the only manufacturer other than GM my family ever had. I'm a big Chevy guy, but more importantly, I'm just a car nut.

Thanks for reading and I look forward to spending some time here.
