I am a 49 y/o retired Firefighter and on my second career with the State of Texas as a Regional Fire Coordinator. I have 1 wife, 2 married daughters and 3 grandboys.
We fish hunt and shoot competitively. My youngest daughter was on the National Olympic Shotgun Team...we shoot a lot.
I love the outdoors and salt water fishing has entered my veins. I get to the coast as much as possible.
I have been Jeepless for several years. My last was a 73 CJ5, 304, 300, Wide track 44's, 4:88 on 35x15.5 swampers. Full cage and 10k MM winch. A 97 TJ with a full cage and mild options that went to my daughter. The dreaded yellow dash light was it's ultimate demise.
I looked hard at the first JK's but the 3.8 just didn't blow my skirt up. In fact I didn't know that Jeep had swapped motors until last month when I met my dad at the dealership when he picked up his new Charger. After test driving I ordered a 14 Rubicon 6 Speed with the options I wanted.
That's my story.
