Hey everyone

Hey, how's it going! Thought I'd see how the community was here as well. I'm sure some of you might already know me from torc4x4, jeepforum and militaryjeepers. My screen name is tx_medic at those forums as well. I'll try to get some pics and posts here as well. For now I'm broadening my horizons mostly for the classifieds, I have a list of parts I'm looking for as well as some stuff to sell/trade (specifically wheels, 15x10 alloy 5x4.5).

Cool, glad to be here.
-Luke

Welcome brother. I've seen you over on MJ before.

Feel free to ask any questions here on the forum.

Before you can post in the Forsale/wanted section you must first have 15 post or approval from a mod. But no worries, 15 post comes easy just jump in on a conversation or two on the forum and you'll be there in no time.

Yes, guilty as charged. However, I've been sentenced to Ft. Sill, OK for the last two years with another to go... but I'm not that far from home.

Welcome!

Welcome, Luke, to the mightiest Jeep Wrangler Forum on the planet today. My youngest is a combat medic currently serving in Iraq and stationed out of Fort Bragg. Again, welcome and glad to have you along for the crawl.

Well THANK YOU and your son in all caps. I hope he makes it back home soon. My trip was in '03 and I've been stuck in and out of Ft. Sill ever since... I'm not quite sure which is worse

Eh no matter how far away we are from home it's still in our blood. I'm In Kentucky right now finishing up a EMT class and I'm missing Texas but I'm sure glad it aint 100+ here!

NREMT is super-easy if I recall. Pretty much if you call med-con, know when to administer nitro and remember CPR you're in the clear. When we (medics) had to go through the civilian EMT course, we did it in about 3 weeks and then tested 2 1/2 months later. I was really worried that I wouldn't remember the material, but it turned out to be nothing to fret. Good Luck!
