Ok alittle about me I am new to this forum stuff and have been fairly ignorant to computers all together, much like I resisted against four stroke dirt bikes when they first came on the MX scene. But as soon as I as rode one I traded my bikes in the next day. i have been surfing this site since i got my latest jeep and the amount of info and help you guys provide each other is great... The question I have today my make some of you crinch but it's just a bandaid I am looking for as I am in the process of building a 4.7 stroker for my TJ. Ok so here is my dilemma I pulled the oil pan to change the rod bearings and found some of the skirt from piston #1 laying there. Not cool... From what I can see the cylinder is ok. I think I can get the piston out past the crank but not sure about putting it back in that way? Like how to compress the rings etc.... Has anyone ever tried this? any help would be much appreciated..
