Talking Hi everyone, another newbie here!

Good afternoon everyone, Jeff here. I am a soon to be Jeep owner of a 1988 YJ in white. (as soon as I get my tax $$ anyway)

I live in the high desert of southern California and I used to ride my dirt bike all over this area and over in Death Valley but a recurring injury has let me to make the hard decision of giving it up for a Jeep. Well let me tell you it turned out to be a very easy decision after all.

I have several questions already that I will post in the correct forum and I look forward to meeting new people and learning about and working on my new Jeep, can't wait!

Have a great day!

You know you drive a TJ when you have the parts for the mod, the right tools for the job, a BFH & still need a Sawzall to get the job done!

Talking I finally got it!

Sorry it's late but I got it Saturday night! Woo hoo let the fun begin.

Well it has already started LOL. The clutch slave cylinder failed Monday while my wife was taking care of all of the necessary changes. It's time to hang on for the ride man, here we go!

Welcome! You're going to love the YJ. It will be the biggest drain on your finances and boost to your happiness you're likely to find.

You mean it's a worse drain than my bike was? Yea I know it will be and we are expecting that so we have planned ahead, well sort of. Can't wait to get it in the dirt!

Thanks everyone, it is good to have that welcome feeling when you get into something new and different.
