Hi from MD

Hey, everybody
I bought a four cylinder 2000 Wrangler a couple months back, all stock parts.
It's in sorta rough condition, rusted in a couple places, lots of stuff under the hood either in need of replace or repair.

I'm thinking about doing a couple things with it, the first being replace the bumpers, they're all dented and a bit rusted, then I'm going to get to work on the engine.
Any advice for some of the first things I should do if I want to fix this old thing up? I have no idea where to start.

Welcome to the forum. This is a great place with people that know what they talking about when it comes to Jeeps. I am not one of them.

Welcome to the forum Ozzy. Go ahead and post up some pics of what you have. Give everyone a better idea of what needs to be done first.

I have the first year of TJ 1997, unfortunately there is not alot you can do to a four cylinder! I bought a Jet Module chip, got rid of all the intake bullshit and put a chrome breather on the valve cover, and K&N intake directly on the throttle body. oh, and a header in place of the stock exhaust manifold! My Jeep can do things, and go places some six cylinders can't do! But I have also done a 4" suspension lift, a 3" body lift, and 35's with new gears!

Well, sounds like you've done pretty good with it!

I'll get some pics up tomorrow when it's actually light out
(I think you'll cry when you see how rusted the engine is)
