Just joined up to see what this fine forum has to offer, so "Hello!" I'm a member of numerous other forums -- JF JU, Pirate, etc., (and recognize a name or two - Jerry B!) But this is my first post here. Not new to Jeepin' though. I've (er, we've as the wifey would say ) got a '98 TJ we bought new. I ordered it with the 4.0l, auto, D44, hard top, full doors and some other stuff that escapes me. Put an RE lift on within a couple months and haven't looked back.

Currently she sits with the 4.0l (headers, some Turbo City parts, PSC gear & pump, Novak rad, remote PS res & cooler, aux oil cooler), auto (deep pan, aux cooler & temp gauge), a NP231 (Teralow, 2LO kit, Novak shifter), Woods d-shafts pushing D30/D44 axles w/ 4.56 gearing. Front is setup with Warn premium hubs; the rear has an Electrac that's currently 'unplugged' (not even sure it's working at the moment), Moser axles & a rear disc conversion.

Lift/suspension is a full AEV/Nth 4.5" long arm, 1" motor, 1" body. Tires are BFG muds (35"), wheels are Weld 15"x8" (5 on 5.5"). Full size spare on a Curry tire carrier/bumper. Front sports a custom-built (by me) bumper/winch plate, Warn XD9000i, shackles, hooks, etc. She's setup to flat tow (built-in tow bar points) and wired to use the factory lighting (for towing.) ORO SwayLOC front anti-sway bar. Vanco big brake kit.

IPF lights up front, Savvy LEDs in the rear. Genright 24g fuel tank with aux filter. OYR rockers & corners (painted to match factory Emerald Green). Interior has some Tuffy stuff, stereo, CB, sPOD switches, and misc. other stuff.

Used to wheel a lot when we first got the Jeep -- went with the old RAMJ+W group a few times, SD 4Wheelers, TDS and a few other groups but never joined any of them. Had a good group of 8 - 10 families that would wheel together until five of the families up and moved to Idaho (we stayed behind.) Took the Jeep apart for a couple of years while I did the major 'build' (and married off a couple kids, became grandparents and other life stuff that interferes with working on the Jeep!)

Another buddy recently bought TJ and I 'sold' him a lot of my old parts; he's rekindled my interest in wheeling. My oldest son also just bought an FJ Cruiser I know, I know ) and wants to do some offroading as well.

So, that's my intro. Hello everyone!

Thanks for the welcomes!

I knew I'd get grief for not posting pics!

I really need to snap some updated shots, but here's what I've got for now:

Back in the day at Pismo:

Under construction:

After the build, before I put the winch back on, etc.:

I also neglected to mention my location -- I'm in the San Diego area...
