Howdy from Austin

I live in Austin Texas..i have had several Jeeps (xj & yj)several Oj Broncos and a Scout and two a ton of old hotrod projects.well my Dad bought a white tj the first year they came out and i have wanted that thing ever took like 16 years but i finally got it.97 hardtop white on white 5 speed had a lil bit of rust being that he lives in Dayton Ohio but i think i saved it just in made it down to Austin 1100 + miles after i replaced brake lines..been sitting about 8 months.but the rear end was crying so its now getting some new spider gears.after inspection they are pretty messed up but at least i got her and made it home.i look forward to the info and maybe be able to do some dirt with some folks.thx dusty

I plan on it mostly being a capable light truck for camping and beaching but also to get me to has 31s on it now its gonna get new gears and 33s down the line and a few lil changes..but Dad has had it out in moab and new river in west va. As well as trails in ky and everywhere in between.its been proven and has a great history.the plan is to continue the build and adventure..about 1200 miles down already!
