Hi guys an gals
Just found this forum. Great site. Been a jk wrangler owner for just over a year now. Bought one because I had one for 3 weeks as a rental car when i visited the states in 2009 and fell inlove with it (and the states). Love the go anywhereness of it. Shes a black Ultimate limited edition version. Anyway thought id say hello. Heres a pic
pardon me, I have to ask.
Don't you find the jk a bit, well, LARGE to be driving about the UK?
I understand it's awesomeness completely!
Yes and no. I drive on single track roads everyday and meeting another car on the lanes can be a pain trying to squeeze past. Its still smaller than a range rover which are everywhere here. The thing i prefered about driving in the US compared to the UK is the fuel costs. Mines the diesel model and i average 22mpg. It costs me over £100 to fill up and doesn't last long. Jeep claim the average mpg is 34 mpg. what a lie. Best ive had is 28mpg on the motorway (freeway).
