Question I am new to Wrangler forum from Corpus Christi

Hello all, I am glad to have found this web-site. I owned a 1976 CJ7 with a 304 several years ago but sold it due to me needing a pick up. I am torn between buying a 2006 4.0 L and a newer wrangler with the V6? What is the general mind set of the two engines, which is thought to be better? Thanks
