I finally am a Jeep owner :-)

I always wanted a Jeep since I was a kid and now I got a silver 06 Wrangler SE. It's a lil 4 cyl that I got with 14K miles. I love it and I'm gonna try to keep it till the body falls apart.

Now it is my main driver and what I'm wondering is what can I do to it and still keep the warranty valid (I have a carchex warranty on it for after the factory warranty is over). Dealership says they have a 2.5" lift package with 32x11.5's but it costs $2400 in parts alone, whew! I'd rather do that somewhere else with less expensive parts if I can. I don't want too much lift since it's my primary, but I'd like some lift for bigger tires for better traction and as much off road capability as I can squeeze. I didn't get a jeep to look at it! If I need to ask this in another forum, jess point me the way.

Being a 4cyl you probably shouldn't put any tires on it larger than 31's. A lot of people complain with 32" tires and the 4cyl. You can easily put 31" tires on it with a simple budget boost for ~$300.

Have you taken it offroad yet? If not, I highly suggest that you do, multiple times. This way you can get a feel for it and where you might want to improve it.

Welcome to the addiction!

Definitely take it out and play with it while it is stock. Get the feel and then you will have a better idea what you want as well as appreciate the lift better when you get it. And welcome to the never ending desire to do something more to the jeep

Welcome to the forum.

Being that it is an after market warranty it's really up to the warranty company to decide what accessories are acceptable. Beware that many of these warranty companies look for reasons to deny claims and adding after market accessories just gives them an excuse.
