..I owned a Jeep..
So I check the classifieds every week, so far, most people want more than I can afford! Well, here's to hopes and dreams, and luck. ![]() My favorite Jeep is the Cj5, but I also like the TJ and YJ's. So... Hello from the desert in north central New Mexico!

Oh man, I was there many moons ago...........wanted a j2B so bad I could taste it. Worked harvest and saved every stinkin' dime. Found one, but no dice, took me almost a year to finally get one. That was in '79. Been at it ever since. No, don't have that High Hood anymore, but another took its place. My TJ is my daily driver, I use 4x4 every day to and from the job sites. For what it is worth, my service truck runs D60's/4:88's/detroits front and rear, 15k Warn in the front and a 12k Ramsey long drum in the rear. Tires are 38's but will be 42's next time. This is a full 8ft service body with my welder, compressor, autocrane and tools. I fix it where they break it and allot of times that is a skidder trail someplace. So, the TJ is set up the way it is as my commuter rig

Thanks guys.
Someone on my local CL (Craigslist) wanted $400 for a rusted out 1975 (I think) CJ. No motor, no tranny, no nothing. Just an empty shell with two axles and shot suspension. If I had the garage space and the money to restore, (Plus the T and E- time and effort) I'd have bought it. Someone did want to sell a 91' Cherokee for $800 with no keys, but well..I like a convertible with 4wd.
