bought my first jeep (Wrangler 97 TJ) a couple of weeks ago and been having a laugh kitting it out. I like it, it's pretty cool.
It's just a shame that Wrangler's aren't as popular in the UK as they are Stateside (parts can be a real S.O.B. to source !), and all the kit I want is soooooooooo much cheaper in the good ol' U.S. of A. !
I guess I'm lucky I don't still live in New Zealand - awesome place for jeeps but even more expensive than England.
Welcome to WF! I am stationed in Germany, but I have Sky TV. One of my favorite shows is Wheeler Dealers; Sky re-ran the Willys MB restoration last month. One of the hosts, Mike Brewer, said it was cheaper to buy vehicles/parts in America and ship to the UK than purchasing originally in the UK. The other host, Edd China, restored the MB...it reminded me of what Beastmaster is doing to a '43 Willys. I am sure he will welcome you to WF as well; hit the link on his signature block to keep track.
Once again, welcome to WF; great group of Jeepers here.
