Jeep Novice with mechanical Question

Just bought my first Jeep 6 days ago. Happy, Happy, Happy! It's a 13' Wrangler Sport. Came with the 3 piece hard top, tow package, and stainless steel exhaust. (Didn't need an aftermarket one.)

Does anyone know if the engine block heater for a 2012 Sahara (Part # 4609325AB) will also work for my Sport? They both have the 3.6L engine and are JK models, but I don't know if parts are interchangeable.

Glad to be part of the Jeep Wrangler forum. Already got info to change the oil and the manual transmission fluid (Thanks phottomatt for the link to project-JK.com).

Welcome Aboard! Yes the block heater will work on your Sport (installed one on mine) but you will also need the power cord, part number 68142875AA.

Thanks! It can get cold in northern Minnesota and I'd like the motor to last.
