jeep reliability

Hey all, like the name says, I'm jeep curious, but have seen reviews saying thay're not very dependable. I'm wondering if this could have more to do with getting the snot knocked out of them offroading than production/design.

If they do have recurring issues, what are they?

btw, I want mine primarily for a snowbunny.

what Jeep are you looking at?

I've never heard of a Wrangler not being reliable (ignoring Consumer Reports)

sorry, looking at wranglers. the searches I've done have reliability as an issue. I was surprised myself. I always thought they were tough as well.

i have never had a problem with reliability. my grand cherokee has 209k on the clock, my hubby's yj has 109k, my cj7 has 175k, and my hubby traded in his 2001 TJ with 125k on the clock. the wranglers have their quirks, but so do most vehicles. the only issues i have ever had were as a result of me off roading. my daily driver is a 2005 X with 80k, every time i turn the key it starts and drives, that is all i ask of a dd.
