Jeeper from Central Florida

Hey everyone- I just realized that I've owned jeeps for 21 years now. I'm 37 now, and I've had 10 or so Jeeps. (2 CJ's, 5 Cherokee's, 3 Wranglers). I should've kept 5 of them, but you know how that goes. I'm currently driving and building a 1990 YJ Sahara that I switched over to a Holley carb instead of the POS stock electric carb. Let's ride!

I'm in Ocala. I unfortunately don't have photos of most of them, but I'll check for some.

Here is my current YJ that I'm about to build. It just has a partial made front bumper right now and 31" duratracs on a 2" shackle lift.

Jeep is in great shape. I just bought my '89 back in March, same khaki metallic. One of my favorite colors but your paint job has definitely held up better than mine. Also bought mine from the original owner. He only registered it 5 or 6 times over the years. Got it with 42k miles. Amazing what you can find out there. If you ever feel like getting rid of those seats, give me a shout. Enjoy it.

42k?! Nice! Yeah, I like this color... I was going to go OD with it, but I might just repaint it the same color. Eventually...

Eventually is right. I had to replace the whole chassis wiring harness so repainting is at the bottom of my list after a few projects I've got planned. Set me back a good bit. Got my dad, brother and brother in law coming to Houston from Atlanta this weekend to do some work on the ole lady. Replacing the power steering pump, installing a set of the Warn SDB-160HB driving/spot lights on the windshield, adding relays for the headlights, full tune up, new speakers and doing some other maintenance, flushing the radiator, replacing hoses etc. Some basic stuff to make a good weekend out of. After that I'm planning on getting the Smittybilt SRC front bumper with winch and fog lights down the line. Then comes the new paint job. Got a real sweet custom front bumper with all sorts of goodies if you're ever interested. Custom made seats that attach. So keep me in mind for those front seats of yours, ha! Have some fun with that rig. Keep us updated as you go.

Yeah, I'd like to keep up with your build also. Is yours coil over? On 33's or 35's?
