Thumbs up Josh From Kentucky (needs help buying)

hey all,

My name is Josh. I've been a lover of Wranglers all my life and my car just died on me at a perfect time, and now I'm in the Market for a first time Wrangler. I'm looking at either the late YJ models or the Early TJ models.

Let me know you're opinions.

Also, anyone who thinks they might have a sale for me, I'm open to shipping. Just depends.

Thanks,
Broken

I can understand that, and i like them too, however, i'm looking for which is more reliable. I suppose it depends on the Jeep.

Really depends on the particular Jeep and what YOU want to do with it. God knows there are fanatic TJ owners on here just frustrated because they couldn't find the perfect YJ.

La Grange here

Both are great vehicles one just has silly head lights. =-P The reliability really depends on the condition of the vehicle that you buy in my opinion.

Maybe I'm too new to it all, but Headlights don't really matter to me too much. It's still a Jeep. =P

Took me about 4-5 month searching to find the one that met the requirements that I wanted.

Well i'm looking at one tomorrow about 3 hours from here.

It's a 95 YJ, originally a 4cyl 2.5L but now its a 4.0L 6cyl. The Engine came from a Cherokee with 120,000 miles. I didn't ask a Year.

The asking price is 3500, with soft and hard top. Well heres the Description anyway:

Nice 1995 Jeep Wrangler Dark Green ext. with tan int. I`m selling it for my son who is in the Army. It has 4.0L motor with an AX15 5spd. transmission and a 231 transfer. Was originally a 2.5 4 cyc. motor with AX5 5spd transmission. We changed the motor and transmission about 2 years ago. He was going to make a play toy with it but has now bought a truck to play with. It has an almost new clutch, pressure plate and throwout bearing. It has a body lift. The wheels are 16 inch aluminum with mudder tires, the tires still have 80 to 90% tread. The frame is in real good shape, the tub is also in good shape. The left front fender has a small rust hole in it right by the fender flare. The interior is in good shape. It has a fairly new soft top on it. We have a hardtop also and if the Jeep brings the reserve or more the hardtop will go with it.
