Just bought my first Jeep

Hi. Today I bought my first Jeep and I just found this forum. It is a 2001 Wrangler Sport. I pick it up on Monday. It has 130,000 miles, 4.0l engine and automatic. I have had in the past a Tahoe, Blazer and Bronco so I know a little about 4WD but I know nothing about Jeeps.

I wanted a Jeep because they are cool looking and I needed a winter vehicle so I don't have to drive my new Mustang in the snow.

So I have alot to learn. I want to add lights, a spare tire cover, etc. Once I get it on Monday I plan to read the owners manual cover to cover. THen I assume I will have lots of questions which I am hoping I can ask here.

Welcome It looks like you have a good start there.
The mustang will soon become jealous of the jeep as you fall
under the modding bug and the poor mustang sees the UPS
truck pull up daily full of jeep goodies.

Yes, that is what my wife said. But I will tell my Mustang that it no longer has to worry about being caught in the snow or rain. It can stay in the gargage!

P.S. List of things I am thinking about doing to my Jeep:
1. light bar w/lights
2. spare tire cover
3. touch up rust spots
4. get new driver's side door handle insert (current one is rusty)
5. louder exhaust muffler
6. sub-woofer
7. of course a nice coat of wax when the weather breaks
8. halogen backup lights
9. etc, etc

Is this normal??
