Just brought my first jeep and I have tire questions

Tuesday I brought my first jeep. I got a brand new '11 wrangler sahara. The problem I am having is finding grip tires for the 18" rims. The few I have been able to find have been really expensive. I'm not looking to do a lot of hard core off-roading but i would like to go to a few mud holes here and there. I was wondering how well jeeps perform with all-terrains. Mine came with Bridgestone Duelers. In the trucks I have had in the past I always ran Firestone Destinations and have never had an all-terrain tire so I am just wondering how much mud can they handle?

I have 33" BF Goodrich AT. They work well in the mud they suck on the street in the rain. Then again I grew up with sports cars and abs. Good luck! I'm on my first jeep too!

As far as the Destinations go, they're not exactly suited for mud because they don't have a very aggressive tread pattern.
