I just bought my first Jeep yesterday, I've been wanting one for ages, and now that block o' wood atop my shoulders craves KNOWLEDGE on how to make it even more awesome than it already is. I am happy that this here forum exists, and hope to not sound too dumb with my posts. I am not a motor-head, and need to rely on those who do know what they're talking about if I want to make good decisions on what to get and general maintenance. Cheers!
Thanks folks. You know what's dangerous about owning a jeep? The *aftermarket* stuff you can do. I am just discovering this - I've already seen so much stuff I have to get, starting with spacers and wheels! Then maybe the procal module to adjust the computer, then new front and rear bumbers, and absolutely the the tubular sidesteps, and of course a new soft top, new gas cap.......
I can see right now I will be working for my Jeep, every hour worked, every penny saved, will all be for my Jeep
picked up my Jeep yesterday morning and drove it home. went to work. got home and spent the whole night in the garage hanging out with it like it was a friend. totally obsessed. was there with needle-nose plyers pulling pine needles and tiny bits out of every crevasse and vent. this morning i drove it around with the top down and just started laughing spontaneously with sheer joy of driving it. This thing is SOOOOO fun to drive, cant find the words to do it justice. oh, and got my first Jeep wave today too haha
