Larry the new guy

I am Larry and I live in Virginia Beach, VA. I am glad to be a member of the jeep forum and looking forward to sharing ideas etc.

I have a 2002 Wrangler Sahara (white) automatic transmission. A 2.5 inch Skyjacker lift, 15X10 Mickey Thompson Classic wheels. Throttle body spacer, AirAid cold air intake, Banks header and cat back system.

I am thinking of adding an electric fan because I tend to get a little over heated when wheeling. I'm hoping the electric fan will solve the problem.

Anyone out there have some pros and con regarding electric fans?

FYI: I am a Vietnam veteran USMC Chu-Lai 1968-1969. Any Marines out there that can relate?

first thank you

2 welcome to WF,

3rd might want to look into doing a good coolant flush before going to e-fans but they are a good upgrade both free up some power and can have them come on a temperature and move a lot more air then the stock clutch fan
