Let me introduce myself and "Carlos"

Good morning to all.
Carlos is my 1998 Wrangler Sport, I am Terry. Not sure who owns who but we have a great working relationship either way. I live in SW Missouri and enjoy road tripping through all the 4 state region. Its a beautiful part of the USA!

I found this site last week when researching whether to rebuild my p/s gear assy or just by a replacement and how difficult it is to remove. I have been putting it off for sometime and finally got tired of the leak on the garage floor.

After reading I decided on the replacement and was pleasantly surprised when the whole project only lasted 2 hours. That included pulling the assy and running it to Autozone so I didn't fork out a core charge. I think the $119.00 was money well spent. Thanks to all who have previously posted on the subject!

I can do anything electrical but do not really love tearing into the mechanical things. My Jeep is the only thing I would say I "enjoy" working on and I am too cheap to have someone else do it. I also have friends who work for beer so we'll just call it "bonding experiences"!

I think the next project will be shocks as they are still stock.
I look forward to reading posts on that.

Thanks for letting me in

Welcome to the forum Terry!

Nothing is foolproof to a sufficiently talented fool.
