Lookin for a toy in Spokane

Hey guys,
Just lookin around for now. Don't own a Jeep at the moment...... yet.

I'm 48 yrs old, live in the Spokane, WA area, the kind of guy who always has toys around. The big ones I currently have include an 05 Malibu wake boat, an 05 KLR 650, and a 99 EZGo golf cart that is really hopped up (big motor, IFS, etc), all of which are heavily modded. I've had the cart & the bike for a few years & had a good time with them. But thought that I might get off on the open air driving & 4 wheelin that can be done in a Jeep..... plus I can skool my buddy in his Yota occasionally.
Selling off the cart & the bike gives me around $6k or $7k, give or take. I like the newer dash on the 97 & up TJs. Second choice would be the older TJs. Mods I like include the new tops, tube fenders, long travel suspension, etc. So I'm thinkin that I'd look around for a TJ with descent engine, descent body, rusty fenders, and trashed top & interior. Maybe a $3k or $4k budget, leaves me a few bucks for the first few mods, get it running & driving right, etc. Easy enough, huh.

Anyway, looks like lots of info here. Feel free to give me your 2 cents on my ideas. Lookin forward to making an impression sometime soon.

I drive by a used car dealer at the corner of Sprague and Evergreen. Looks like a lonely TJ sitting in the back of the lot and needing a new home. Good luck.

Ha! Thanks, I'll have to check that out. Must be the place with all the stuffed animals on top of the cars. My mom lives nearby so I'll probably get a chance to check it out.
