My wife is interested in the 4-door 70th Anniversery Edition Sahara Unlimited. It's got all the bells and whistles on it (leather, navigation, same color fenders and hard top, heated seats, steering wheel controls, etc).
Sticker on one of these things is around 37,500. I've never owned a Jeep before, but I do know the resale value is high. I was wondering if anyone has ever purchased a brand new Jeep and was able to haggle with the price at all? Again, we're in the early stages of looking at vehicles, but the Jeep Wrangler is near the top of the list.
Yes, you can haggle. My wife and I, found the jeep we wanted, then got on the internet, priced jeeps from around the country and used those prices against the dealers here in Kansas City. Welcome to the forum.
Buy a Rubicon..If your like every other jeep owner you will start upgrading and adding lift and bigger tires..Go ahead and spend the extra money for the rubicon with better axles ,gears, Lockers..I tis cheaper to buy it up front then trying to convert your to hold up..And yes dealers will play the game with you. We got them to drop the price pretty good on our 2010 and tossed in an extended warranty
Hey I can agree with cru9 to a point. Get a Rubicon if you're gonna play off road and want it ready, right out of the box and don't plan to add anything else. However if you plan to change things and make better upgrades, get the sport and build it the way you want it! As far as being able to haggle... that depends on the dealer and how well Jeeps are selling in your area. Since Jeeps are one of the hottest vehicles that people want the dealers know they don't have to wiggle to much.
Pirate Diver... We plunder what's already gone under!
Well, its official...I'm a Jeep owner. Bought the wife a 70th Anniversary Edition Sahara Unlimited. It's black exterior with black interior leather seats. I won't give away too many details, but I'm certain I got a good deal.
There was things had to do to it first, so no pics 'til tomorrow night. Thanks for all the info and pretty soon I'll be delving into all the bad ass add-ons.
